With the new season upon us, Leinster Rugby’s Community Rugby Officers are again ready to support clubs. This season, in South Dublin, we started a reset coaching workshop.
The coaching workshops started on September 26 in Clondalkin RFC with the idea being to give mini and youth coaches ideas on how best to coach the basics and also give them some small-sided games.
Rob Mullen (South Dublin CRO) says, “It’s been great getting back into the clubs and helping the mini and youth coaches. These reset workshops get them ready for the season ahead all coaches have found it very beneficial.
“We have had nearly 30 coaches on most workshops in each club so it’s fantastic to see they want to continue to improve as coaches so their players improve and enjoy the sessions more.”
