Salesian College and Colaiste Chiarain training hard for this year’s 2014 South Dublin Cup…
The prize at stake is a trip to play the final in Tallaght Stadium and both schools are really looking forward to the challenge of trying to get there.
This is Colaiste Chiarain’s first season at school’s rugby and they are thoroughly looking forward to the challenge.
Teacher Mark Kennedy and NUIM Barnhall CCRO are enjoying a fine first run out with the school this year and interest remains high and this should be a school to be reckoned with for many years to come.
Salesian College are fielding both a Senior and Junior team in the competition again this year with the juniors out to reclaim the trophy they won last year. There has been massive interest within the school after the success of the team last year and numbers have almost doubled at training since. This remains a highly competitive school and will hope to grab honours once more.
This is a very exciting time for both schools and NUIM Barnhall as interest in rugby within local schools continues to grow.
