Together with LauraLynn Children’s Hospice, Special Olympics Leinster were one of Leinster Rugby’s two charity partners last season.

Following their recent success at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles, where Team Ireland brought home 86 medals in total, Leinster head coach Leo Cullen invited some of the Leinster based athletes that competed at the World Games into Leinster HQ to celebrate their achievements and for a special behind the scenes tour.
17 athletes and two athletes who acted as basketball officials were given exclusive access to the gym, the dressing rooms, the medical facilities and the offices at Leinster HQ before Leo and some of the Leinster players presented them with Leinster packs in recognition of their achievements in Los Angeles.
