St Mary’s College RFC is hosting a rugby 10’s tournament in Templeville Road on 17th May 2014…
St Mary’s College RFC would like to invite all clubs to participate in the competition. We are going to be running two competitions, one for social teams (Irish J3 standard) and one for Veterans (over 35s).
The format will be simple; teams will be split into groups with the top two in each progressing to the cup competition and next two entering the plate competition. The tournament will kick off with a welcome event on Friday 16th May in the clubhouse and the tournament will commence the following day. On the Saturday you will be guaranteed at least 4 matches and who knows maybe even carry home the trophy and winner’s cheque for €;1,500!!
We will be having a celebration party after the tournament in the clubhouse and a meal, live music and some fun games will all be provided into the small hours. We have then arranged with a popular Dublin nightclub for free entry and a local cab company have agreed a cheap price on travel to and from the club. We have an accommodation deal with a hotel in Dublin and we can send on details of this to you if you would be interested in travelling to Dublin for the tournament. All of this is included in the entry fee of €;500 per team, which works out at less than €;50 per man for a squad of 12 or 13 players.
