Four 6th class groups took part in what was a very enjoyable day for everyone involved. 120 students made up 16 teams who took their rugby very seriously and impressed greatly on the day…

After finishing a seven week rugby program with the respective classes, this blitz day was a chance to display all of the skills that each student has learned and developed.

From the start, the inter-class rivalry was apparent and added extra spice. All participants showed great hunger and passion to include all their teammates and score some mouth-watering tries.

Westmanstown CCRO Kenneth Moore was very happy with how the day went, saying;

St. Patrick’s has produced some very talented players in the past and the future looks very bright for this current group of students. It is up to us to try and find the next generation of Leinster Rugby stars and it’s very possible this school can produce some in the near future
