St Patrick’s National School in Skerries took part in a six week rugby program of tag rugby, learning skills passing, handling and decision making…
On the morning of the Blitz the matches were played on two pitches 8 a side with rolling subs, refereed by Joe May the under 11’s head coach of Skerries RFC and on the other pitch refereed by Michael Woods. Teachers keeping time and score while everybody got involved and enjoyed a morning of rugby.
After the Blitz’s was over the teachers commented on how the pupils had improved over the last few weeks.
Once again thanks to the teachers, pupils and Joe May for all their help in a very successful morning of rugby.
