The start dates of the Bank of Ireland Leinster Rugby Schools Cup competitions has been pushed back by two weeks.
Following a number of Covid-19 related issues in schools in the wake of the return to school after the Christmas holidays the Schools Committee has ratified a two-week delay to the start of all Cup competition.
All rounds of all Cup competitions will now start two weeks later.
A schedule of each round along with revised dates will be forwarded to schools in the coming days. Venues should remain unchanged unless there is an issue with the host club.
In addition, the Schools Committee will draw up a criterion to deal with further issues should they arise once the competitions commence.
This will be circulated nearer to the start of competitions.
