Over the course of this week, Leinster Rugby held Club Information sessions at three different locations around the province.
There were close to 60 clubs from all across the province represented at the three events which took place in Leinster Rugby HQ (Monday), Navan (Wednesday) and Carlow IT (Thursday).
Speaking about the events, Head of Rugby Development Phil Lawlor said: “This is part of an overall strategy that we have in Leinster Rugby about involving ourselves more with helping our clubs. Basically, as our tagline is ‘From The Ground Up’ so this is about bringing our clubs to Leinster to show them what we’ve got to offer in all the different areas around our coach education programmes, our player development programmes, our volunteer development programmes and, again, our referees development programmes.
“All of those are integral to what we do within Leinster. And it’s important that our clubs buy in to what we’re trying to do and become part of what we’re trying to do. That will help them become better clubs, create a better environment for people that are within their clubs and then lead to a much more vibrant club.”
Some of the topics discussed with representatives were:

- Competition Fixtures and Registration (Transfers/Rules and regulations/Objections and Appeals)
