2013 marks the first ever Tallaght festival. The day is designed to provide a fantastic family day out with lots for every age to take part in as excellent music, food, sport and most importantly local culture will be displayed on Saturday 6th of July…

The weather is expected to be very good (we pray) so come down and get a “Leinster Rugby goodie” for the children and ask about local rugby club Tallaght RFC and it’s future plans.

Tallaght RFC are competing in the tug o war too which has already amassed a huge entry and promises to be the focal point of an action packed day.

Finally but no means least, come down and get your mitts on Leinster Rugby’s latest acquisitions to the trophy cabinet – the elusive RaboDirect Pro12 cup, the Amlin Challenge cup and the British and Irish Cup. Let’s celebrate a phenomenal season by your province in your town with Leinster mascot LEO the LION!!!

Tallaght RFC are hoping that all current members and anybody interested to pop down to the LeisurePlex car park in Tallaght on Saturday and for any further information call Leinster Rugby’s CRO, Tom McKeown on 0879705671 or email him on CROSouthDublinCC@leinsterrugby.ie
