St Thomas’ SNS of Jobstown and St Kilian’s of Kingswood, Tallaght can be extremely proud of their 5th class boys and girls who attended the areas final blitz of the year at Tymon park at the end of June. The day was a great success with fantastic weather and an abundance of rugby talent on display…

There were great demonstrations of skill, speed and evasion throughout the day – the key tools to be the next Leinster Rugby star.

The day would not have been possible without the help of teachers or Tallaght rugby club who provided referees, access to toilets and a superb playing surface on the day. Special thanks to Keith Mason & Brian Tyrell of Tallaght RFC.

South Dublin Community rugby officers Niall Neville and Tom McKeown were impressed yet again by the skill level of the children, particularly as most have only had a taste of the sport.

On further opportunities on playing, refereeing or coaching in the SDCC area please contact Leinster Rugby’s CRO’s, Niall Neville niall.neville@leinsterrugby.ie or Tom McKeown CROSouthDublinCC@leinsterrugby.ie .
