Tallaght RFC are inviting applications for the position of Coach for their Women’s team for the 2020/2021 season.
Tallaght RFC Women’s team are no strangers to the game. Initially starting as a social team in 2011, they now compete in the Leinster Metro Division 4 league.
Training is held once a week on Wednesdays and matches are normally held on Sundays. They are seeking a committed, energetic and ambitious individual to join the club, leading the Women’s team through the upcoming season.
The successful candidate will be required to have the following:
- Previous coaching experience, minimum IRFU Level 3 coaching qualification or international equivalent
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Structured approach to coaching and development of players
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading one training session per week and conduct match day processes in conjunction with team management
- Managing the coaching programme for the Women’s team and plan for the season for the squad with clearly defined KPIs and regular reviews
- Driving positive team culture. Working with other team management to ensure the squad are organised and disciplined. Encourage team spirit whilst ensuring players have pride in themselves, their club and their sponsors
