On Saturday the 23rd of November, Clontarf FC in conjunction with The Gathering 2013 will host their traditional pre-international party to welcome their New Zealand friends Castle Avenue and celebrate the strong connection Clontarf has with New Zealand rugby past, present & future…
The game kicks off at 7.15pm when the first ever Kiwi Irish over 35’s take on the unbeaten Clontarf selection of over 35s. The New Zealand side will comprise a selection of the finest Kiwi natives who have fallen in love with this beautiful Island (or usually one of its female inhabitants) and settled here. They will take on the greatest of Clontarf FC’s Has-Beens.
There will be live music in the bar after the game and everyone is invited to welcome our Kiwi friend’s to Dublin before the Ireland v New Zealand game the following day.
Admission is free and all are welcome and on the night we will be collecting funds for the Canterbury Earthquake appeal.
