In a thoroughly entertaining game in Navan RFC Tullamore scored 20 points in the third quarter as they turned an eight-point deficit into a 27-15 lead before eventually prevailing 27-18 and setting up a repeat of last year’s decider.
Meanwhile at Edenderry RFC Boyne scored three fourth quarter tries that turned a titanic battle with Cill Dara into a late, late stroll as the holders, 14-11 ahead at the interval, booked their second successive encounter with their Midland rivals on a 36-11 scoreline.
The final will take place in Naas RFC on Sunday, 18th April at 3:30pm.
