Leinster Rugby would like to invite applications for the position of Senior Ticket Officer, to be based in our Offices in UCD, Belfield, Dublin 4.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial and Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the Ticket Office to include the management of Season Ticket sales, Season Ticket holder relationships and relationships with key stakeholders. You will also work closely with the marketing and commercial team within Leinster Rugby in order to maximize ticket sales while maintaining and building a strong brand.
The successful candidate will have:
Essential:
- Third level education in Business or similarly relevant field.
- 3-5 years experience in administrative role.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a close knit team.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and using initiative.
- Ability to be flexible, including availability to work outside of core hours and weekends.
- Strong analytical skills in interpreting and presenting sales data.
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and Powerpoint.
Desirable:
- Experience in Ticket software such as Archtics or similar.
- Experience in website management.
- Full clean driving licence
- Experience in professional sports administration
- Experience in customer service role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the Commercial and Marketing team to agree on marketing and sales plans for ticketing both individual games and Season Tickets. To include discussion and agreement on critical path for sales timelines.
- Work closely with Commercial Dept. colleagues to ensure highest levels of customer service are maintained both within office hours and on match day including primary responsibility for responding to customer emails on match day and dealing with any issues that arise at the match venue.
- Work closely with Accounts Department to ensure timely settlement of both matchday returns and payment of tickets to and from opposing teams.
- Leinster Rugby ticket representative on match day.
- Work as primary contact for all existing Season Ticket holders, manage personal relationships, deal with any issues, complaints or requests.
- Work as primary ticket contact for key stakeholders such as Tournament Sponsors, Leinster Rugby Sponsors, Corporate Hospitality, Friends of Leinster and internal stakeholders.
- Manage ticketing for away fixtures to include obtaining and supplying ticket allocations for visiting and travelling supporters, arranging sale of same, distribution of same and reconciliation of same with Accounts Department.
- Manage distribution of complimentary tickets internally for all staff, squad and various committee volunteers.
- Manage all communications to Season Ticket holders.
- Manage design, tender and logistics of thermal ticket stock supply.
- Maintain close working relationship with Ticketmaster.
- Maintain close working relationship with Official Leinster Supporters Club.
- Respond to all email and customer queries from all stakeholders.
- Manage ticket allocations for RDS, Aviva Stadium and any home play-off fixtures to ensure all stakeholders are accommodated fairly.
- Management of all disabled ticketing.
- Management of Season Ticket pack collections at beginning of season including delivery, logistics and distribution.
- Key liaison for Season Ticket distribution and logistics (design, print, delivery etc).
- Delivery of annual KPI’s as agreed with line manager.
- Carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
