Tries from Max Deegan, Dave Kearney and Nick McCarthy helped Leinster Rugby to a 25-17 win over Bath Rugby at Donnybrook Stadium last Friday.

Deegan scored the game’s opening try, with a Ross Byrne penalty giving Leo Cullen’s young side an 8-0 half-time lead.

The game opened up more in the second half as an experienced Bath side, featuring 2017 Lions tourist Taulupe Faletau, got some points on the board.

However, scores from Kearney and McCarthy kept Leinster in front, with seven points coming from the boot of a fit again Joey Carbery.
