Volkswagen, the Official Car Partner of the Leinster Rugby team, has the summer wrapped up for children throughout Leinster as they launched the Volkswagen Leinster Rugby Summer Camps…
Taking place at 22 venues across the province, the camps offer the rare opportunity for kids to get up close and personal with their sporting heroes and learn to play the Leinster way.
Leo Cullen, Shane Jennings and Kevin McLaughlin helped launch these popular camps at which they will be mentoring aspiring players using key professional rugby tips.
Kicking off in July, the camps further enhance Volkswagen’s emerging status in the Irish rugby scene from a grassroots level upwards.
Adam Chamberlain, Head of Sales Marketing at Volkswagen Ireland commented; “We are delighted to bring the Volkswagen Leinster Rugby Camps to children throughout Leinster this summer. We have always realised the importance of investing in sports from grassroots level and support this in any way possible.
“Like Volkswagen, the Leinster Rugby team are passionate about their profession and realise the need to assist younger players coming through the ranks. We hope as many aspiring rugby players as possible avail of this great opportunity over the summer months.”
Each camp takes place over one week (Monday through to Friday inclusive) between 9:30am and 1:30pm. Each participant will receive an Official Canterbury of New Zealand Rugby Pack (T-Shirt, Ball, Boot Bag and Water Bottle). The Camps are managed and run by fully accredited IRFU coaches.
