Voting is now open for the January Bank of Ireland Player of the Month Award with Michael Ala’alatoa, Caelan Doris and Jimmy O’Brien nominated.

January saw big European wins over Montpellier and Bath as well as a narrow defeat away to Cardiff in the URC.

Voting is open to Leinster Rugby Season Ticket Holders via their Ticketmaster account.

Michael Ala’alatoa

Michael Ala’alatoa played a key role for Leinster Rugby last month, helping the side reach the knockout stages of the Champions Cup.

The Samoan capped off a strong month by scoring his first ever try for the club against Montpellier at the RDS.

Caelan Doris

Caelan Doris was once again pivotal in big European victories. The back row started in the wins against both Montpellier and Bath.

Doris was soon called up to the Irish Six Nations squad as well as making the 15 man shortlist for European Player of the Year.

Jimmy O’Brien

In January, Jimmy O’Brien became the first ever Leinster player to score four tries in one Champions Cup game. His remarkable performance away to Bath also saw him named the Star of the Match.

Adding his try against Montpellier earlier in January, O’Brien finished the month with five tries.
