Leinster Rugby’s Senior Analyst, Brian Colclough speaks to Leinster Rugby TV about his time working with Manu Samoa at the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
Having already worked with Samoa co-captain, Michael Ala’alatoa and Assistant Coach, Andrew Goodman at Leinster Rugby, he explains how the connection with the Samoa National Team was made.
As a Dubliner who has never been to the South Pacific, he talks us through what life was like living with the team in Samoa ahead of the start of the Rugby World Cup.

With a warm up game against Ireland before the start of the tournament, Brian faced many familiar faces.
We hear how the fine margins can be the difference in International Rugby and how Samoa are continuing their fight for more tests against Tier 1 nations.
Brian was also continuing his own training while with Samoa as he prepares for the 2023/24 AIL season with Blackrock College RFC.
