Wicklow RFC Senior pre-season training began this week on the pitches at Ashtown Lane and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm…
There’ll also be sessions on certain Saturdays with the timings to be confirmed. New players of all levels are always welcome up at the club. Anyone interested can contact head coach Niall Smullen on (087) 9141479 for further details.
The Senior Section is hoping for a successful season this year with very real aspirations of both the Firsts and Seconds teams pushing for promotion and silverware. There are also plans in place to put out a competitive thirds team so there’ll be plenty of game time for all players.
The Senior woman’s team will start their pre-season on Tuesday 16th July at 7pm. Women’s rugby at all age groups is going from strength to strength in WRFC and they hope to build on a successful season last year.
