The Leinster Youths Cups Finals day has come round again on the May Bank Holiday Monday in Donnybrook. It gives an opportunity for the cup finalists at U-15, U-17 and U-19 to showcase their skills and determination in the last matches of the season…

The first final, the Under-15 McAuley Cup will commence at 12 midday on 7th May in Donnybrook and features Navan RFC and Enniscorthy RFC. Both these clubs are normally in contention at the final stages of all competitions. Navan beat Cill Dara, Birr and Gorey on their way to Donnybrook. Enniscorthy saw off Athy, Clane, Ratoath and Kilkenny on their way to the final.

The second final, the Under-17 Culliton Cup kicks off at 2pm Mullingar RFC have qualified to play the winners of Navan RFC and Ashbourne RFC. The latter match is fixed for Thursday 3rd May and has all the making of a tough encounter between two neighbouring clubs. Mullingar defeated Cill Dara, Edenderry, Co. Carlow, New Ross and Tullamore on their way to the final.

The last match, the Under-19 D’Arcy Cup has Naas RFC and Tullamore RFC battling for the honours, kick off is set for 4pm. Both these clubs have won this competition in previous years. Naas beat New Ross, Dundalk, Boyne and R&B Rebels to reach the final. Tullamore ended the hopes of Athy, Clane, Ratoath and Kilkenny
