Emma Gallivan

Emma qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2000 and subsequently completed a Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy at University College Dublin.

She worked for 10 years within the IRFU and Leinster Rugby Age Grade Programmes before moving on to the role of Lead Physiotherapist with Athletics Ireland in 2012. Emma was also the Resident Physiotherapist at the Sport Ireland Institute working across the Irish Athletics Team for two Olympic Games in London and in Rio de Janeiro.

Emma moved back into rugby in 2017 with the Ireland Men’s Sevens team and with Connacht Rugby, before moving to the UK in 2020 to work in the Premiership with Exeter Chiefs and Sale Sharks.

She returned to Leinster Rugby as Senior Physiotherapist in April 2023.
