The 2023 Bank of Ireland Leinster Rugby Summer Camps have officially launched, with 29 camps to choose from around the 12 counties.
The summer camps are open to girls and boys aged six to 12 and all of the camps are run by fully accredited IRFU coaches. Each camp runs from Monday to Friday and from 9.30am to 1pm.
The summer camps, which will take place in 28 different locations all across the province in July and August, offer children the chance to learn to play the Leinster way while having plenty of fun!
Leinster Rugby have also announced that with the change in the rugby schedule this summer due to the Rugby World Cup, Leinster Rugby players will once again be available and will make appearances at this year’s summer camps.
There are also a number of new venues added reflecting the growth in popularity of the camps, including; Rathfarnham/Stillorgan, Birr, Carlingford Knights, Carlow and Roscrea rugby clubs.
Ray McCabe, Leinster Rugby Summer Camp Co-ordinator, said, “We’re thrilled to have Bank of Ireland on board again as the title sponsor of our Leinster Rugby summer camps.
“And it’s brilliant as well to have the Leinster Rugby players back visiting our camps. The players playing for Leo Cullen and for Tania Rosser, they are the stars of the show and it’s a real bonus to have them back visiting our camps and inspiring all the boys and girls.
“We know from the feedback we receive that the kids really enjoy meeting the players and we look forward to having them back this summer.”
As well as learning to play the Leinster way, making new friends and having lots of fun, each child will also receive a pack including a rugby training t-shirt, a Rhino rugby ball and a boot bag.
They will also get one free ticket to a selected Leinster Rugby game.
The cost of attending the camp will be €90 per child.
